As a Black Woman, while you were having your religious experience, you were caught in a loop of the system of religion and the systems of society, which are the same, because religion heavily influences how society operates. You were attempting to dwell in a religion that was siphoning your energy, go out into a world that was and still is intimidated by your essence, only to return to religion to attempt to find some relief. Not realizing you were in a loop of systems you were never designed to fit into. Even if you've physically left your religion, the dogma and limiting ideas may still be at play in your life, often without your awareness. It's not enough to walk away and try to forget the falsehoods you were fed in religion. You must take disassociation a step further by untangling those stories and lies from your energy and your nervous system.
